Get Involved

You can help make life transformation possible.

Christ Is The Answer Rescue Mission does not accept government funding. We believe true and lasting transformation comes through Jesus Christ, and we are committed to keeping the Gospel at the center of everything we do.

The daily work of providing shelter, meals, discipleship, counseling, practical support, and a pathway forward is made possible through people, churches, businesses, and organizations who have a heart to see lives changed.

See the Person, Not Just the Circumstance

There is a story behind every person who comes through our doors.

The circumstances behind homelessness are rarely simple. For some, it may involve job loss, trauma, addiction, abuse, broken relationships, financial crisis, or a series of events that caused life to unravel.

At CITA, we see more than a circumstance. We see a person created in the image of God who needs truth, compassion, accountability, community, and an opportunity to rebuild.

A rescue mission can be the place where a crisis ends—and a new chapter begins.

Give

Help provide the steady support transformation requires.

Homelessness, addiction, trauma, and brokenness do not happen overnight—and rebuilding a life does not happen overnight either. Financial support helps CITA remain present throughout the journey.

One-Time Giving

Give Today

Every gift matters. A one-time gift helps provide Christ-centered care and practical support for people who are rebuilding their lives.

Volunteer

Give your time. Make an impact.

Volunteers serve throughout CITA by supporting our programs, thrift stores, facilities, events, meals, discipleship, and other areas where their time and abilities can help the ministry serve people well.

Some opportunities are ongoing. Others may be a one-time project or a way for a church, school, business, or group to serve together.

Partner With CITA

We can do more together.

Churches, schools, businesses, service organizations, and skilled professionals can use what God has placed in their hands to strengthen the work happening every day at CITA.

Churches & Schools

Support the mission financially, organize service projects or donation drives, involve students or ministry groups, invest in discipleship, and create meaningful ways for your congregation or school community to engage with the mission.

Businesses

Partner through sponsorships, matching gifts, financial support, donated goods or services, employee service opportunities, and other creative ways to invest in life transformation.

Skilled & Service Partners

HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, maintenance, automotive, landscaping, professional services, and other expertise can help CITA reduce costs and steward resources toward the people we serve.

Invite CITA to Share

Help more people discover the mission.

One of the most meaningful ways to help CITA is simply to give us an opportunity to share what God is doing. We welcome opportunities to speak with churches, schools, businesses, civic and community organizations, volunteer and donor groups, and other gatherings throughout our community.

CITA can also participate in community events where we can meet people, share our mission, and help others understand the needs facing men, women, and children in our community. Greater awareness creates more opportunities for people to give, serve, pray, partner, and become part of life transformation.

More Ways to Make a Difference

Giving can take many forms.

An asset you no longer need, a planned gift for the future, or another form of generosity may help CITA continue changing lives for years to come.

Vehicles & Boats

Put an unused vehicle or boat to work for the mission.

RVs & Other Property

Explore whether property you no longer need can help support CITA.

Legacy & Estate Gifts

Build life transformation into the legacy you leave behind.

Stocks & Other Assets

Shop & Donate

Our thrift stores help fund the mission.

ABOUT 1/2 of CITA's operating budget is supported through our thrift stores.

When you shop at a CITA thrift store, donate furniture or household goods, schedule a donation pickup, or tell someone else about our stores, you are doing much more than supporting a resale store.

Thrift store revenue helps provide the resources needed to serve men, women, and children across CITA's ministries. Your donated items can be given new purpose while helping someone else begin a new chapter.

There Is a Place for You

However you get involved, you become part of someone's story.

Give. Serve. Partner. Shop. Pray. Every person who stands with CITA helps us continue pointing people toward the hope found in Jesus Christ while providing the practical support needed to move from crisis toward a transformed life.
