Box Truck Driver

CITA Rescue Mission is looking for a person who is not just an employee, but a person who desires to be part of a Team and is called to Minister and serve the men, women, children, and families we serve. The Driver is responsible for completing scheduled pickups at residential and commercial sites, loading items of furniture, appliances, clothing, and boxes of miscellaneous items for use at the Mission or for resale in the CITA Thrift Stores. The hours are from 8:00 am through approximately 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00 am through 12:00pm every other Saturday. The Truck Driver is often the first and sometimes the only CITA representative the donor may ever meet, so the driver must have effective communication skills and be an Ambassador for the mission.
Salary: Based on Experience
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 1 year of experience in driving and loading at least an 18’ box truck
· Must have a driving record that will pass CITA Insurance qualification
· Must provide prior driver experience
· Must provide a letter of recommendation from the Pastor or staff of your current Church
· Must be willing to sign the CITA Doctrinal Statement
· Must pass a background screening
· Must present customer service skills

Thrift Store Employee

Summary:
The employee will be responsible for all duties pertaining to donations, cleaning, and minor maintenance of the Thrift Store. We are a Christ-Centered Ministry, with our focus being providing resources to help the broken and hurting in our community.
Duties:
• Sorting/pricing of all donated items
• Placement/staging of all donated items on sales floor
• Loading/unloading of trucks bringing donations/taking deliveries
• Ensuring proper rotation of stock from warehouse to sales floor
• Assembly of certain donated items
• Testing of donated electronics/equipment to sell
• Customer service as needed such as: loading/unloading of customer vehicles, answering questions of customers to the best of your ability, showing customers merchandise if requested, etc.
• Properly disposing of unwanted items in appropriate places such as: metal onto scrap trailer, furniture/clothes onto dump trailer, raw garbage into dumpster, etc.
• Daily cleaning of restrooms, warehouse, sales floor, yard, etc.
• All other duties as assigned by Thrift Store Management
Qualifications:
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Reliable Transportation to/from work
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow instructions in a timely manner
