My name is Nathaniel Hawthorne and I've been to CITA a few different times. Back and forth, I couldn't get my life together. I believed in Jesus, but hadn't given Him my heart or truly put my faith in Him. I always thought my plan was better, and ended up returning to addiction and sin every time. I got to the point where I gave up. I didn't love myself anymore and I had no peace inside. I came back to CITA in October of 2018 and prayed daily for the strength to be still and know God. I put my faith in Jesus and gave Him my heart. He taught me how to love myself again, and gave me a peace that is unexplainable. Jesus showed me that He will never give up on me and to not give up on myself. I have been blessed abundantly from big things of family being back in my life and being able to trust me again, to small things like getting my Drivers License back after 20 years. I know that no matter what I'm going through that Jesus will always make a way. I truly appreciate the love and blessings I've received daily from CITA Mission, through the Lord, and the Godly people He blessed my life with. Thank you!
